Jeanne Dippel, a family friend and former neighbor,
has been pursuing her dream of becoming an artist,
using charcoal on paper.
She recently had a show of her work in a gallery
at C.W. Post College, in Brookville, New York.
The theme of her collection was,
"Women of Distinction, Portraits in Charcoal,"
and included beautiful renditions of people like
Mother Theresa, Oprah Winfrey, and Marilyn Monroe (below).
